Bonnie Revelle is the owner of HotAZCreations.  She enjoys custom designing jewelry and home decor.  She lives in Sun City West, AZ with her Labrador Retriever, Raider, and Red Heeler, Sadie. She has a BS in Math and Science, and worked in the computer software field. She retired from the high tech industry in 2006.

 

In 2011, a friend of hers returned from Kenya with a small bag of Kazuri beads, hand-made by village women in Nairobi. Each large Kazuri bead was unique and colorful, and truly outstanding. After researching for compatible gemstones and metals, Bonnie made her first Kazuri necklace. Her friends liked what they saw and asked her to make more of them. After attending numerous trade shows, Bonnie expanded her creations to include a variety of leather bracelets. Soon came necklaces, using precious stones and other natural materials, followed with matching bracelets and earrings.

 

Bonnie does extensive research on the unique components used in her jewelry and leather designs. She sources from the US and other countries. Some of these components are Bulahan wood beads from the Philippines, Samunnat beads from Nepal, Kazuri beads from Nairobi, Golem design beads from Bulgaria, Dorabeth Designs and Raku components from the US.

 

Her leather bracelets have really taken off. She offers her designs in Phoenix area craft shows, and stores located in Cave Creek, AZ and Alaska. Her successful line of NFL and college football themed leather bracelets match team colors and some have team logo charms. 

 

For her leather bracelets, Bonnie uses only top quality leathers from Europe, Australia, and the US. Most clasps on the bracelets are magnetic with safety hooks so they don’t come off with casual wearing. These magnetic clasps are made from zinc or pewter and electro-plated with 99.9% pure sterling silver, brass or copper. They are certified lead free and nickel free. The components used as decorations are made of sterling silver, electro-plated silver, brass or copper, precious stones, or exotic beads. Bracelets that have a magnetic clasp can be made with non-magnetic clasp on request. Bonnie’s designs are constantly updated to meet the latest fashion trends.

 

Bonnie also creates custom jewelry sets for bridal parties and formal fashions, as well as making special designs for tournament gifts. One year she designed 120 different African themed leather bracelets for a women’s golf tournament. She received raved reviews for her unique designs.

 

Bonnie designs leather runners using Premium Brazilian Cowhide which she hand selects.  She embellishes them with custom made Conchos, bead tassels, hand made horsehair tassels, exotic leathers and braid.  Her  leather table place mats sell out at her shows in record time.  She enjoys designing custom runners for individual clients, so give her a call.

 

In 2018, Bonnie added Rustic Leather Picture Frames to her inventory.  She sold out at the first introduction of these unique frames.  She uses leather belts, belt buckle sets, leather feathers and other fun components as decorations.  She has designed cowhide runners and matching leather frames for some of her customers.  These frames have been sold as one-of-a-kind presents.  The recipients have requested additional frames for their homes.

 

In 2019, Bonnie introduced her Decorative Leather Pillows.  After not finding what she wanted to decorate her own home, she decided to make a couple Leather Pillows.  Her friends loved them, so off she went and now makes them for others.  She has been asked to make a Leather Runner for a Coffee Table and matching Pillows, and a large Picture Frame.  It's always fun to see how others decorate and she enjoys being a part of this interior design.

In 2022, Bonnie expanded her leather creations and added leather framed mirrors, hat racks, and leather door handle covers for those HOT and COLD days!
